Good Morning Stampers ~ I played with the pigs again and created this Stampin’ Up This Little Piggy Flower.
I was running yesterday and will be today also. I won’t get a chance to get into my craft room until this evening! I have to make my card and video for tomorrow. I have a hair appointment which I needed. Then I will be getting Michaela and the girls and meeting Jess here as they are going to their grandmother’s for dinner. I will work on my cards after they leave. Wednesday looks to be pretty quiet so I may be able to spend a good chunk of time in my craft room.
I am continuing with the next stamp set I have that is in the catalog. The next set was the This Little Piggy. This is not a set I was fond of when it first came out. I was not going to order it but made a mistake with another order and ended up with 2. I kept the set and started playing with it. I love all the cards I have made with it. It is turning out to be one of my favorite sets to play with. I began by stamping the pig with the flower. This pig is so cute and so fun dancing around with that flower. I colored him using markers. I thought the flower looked like the flowers on one of the pieces of Garden Impressions designer series paper so I decided to pair them. One of the colors in the designer series paper is Mango Medley so I chose to use it for my card base. I used Night of Navy for my panel layers. The pig image is mounted with dimensionals to add some interest. To finish my card I added some silver metallic hearts. Here is the completed Stampin’ Up This Little Piggy Flower creation.
