Stamping a background on vellum

Stamping a background on vellum

Happy Friday Stampers – another idea in my vellum series is Stamping a background on vellum.

If you have ever tried stamping on vellum you know there is a learning curve with it. For the next idea in the vellum series using that idea to make a background for my card has some challenges. Since ink on vellum does not dry quickly it would have to be heat set if it was not embossed. Attaching vellum to a card has its challenges also. After playing with a few ideas this is the final card.

About my card

Petunia Pop – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Vellum – 4″ x 5 1/4″

The ribbon on the card is the new Petunia Pop bordered ribbon. The stamp set is Translucent Florals.

Vellum makes great pockets as it does not hide your background. Here is an idea. Vellum also makes a great strip behind your image to draw attention to it.

Today’s card has another minimal supply list. Here is what you will need. Click the image and add it to your card.
