Star of Light Snow

Hello Stampers ~ today I used 2 sets to create my Star of Light Snow.

I have been off all week by one day.  I posted my One Color Wonder video on Tuesday and not Wednesday as I thought it was Wednesday.  The same has been true for other things I had to do.  I kept looking in my planner at the wrong day.  Good thing I did not miss any appointments!

Well I got one project finished and started the second one.  I have the second one almost half finished.  I will be finishing up the second project today and then I need to make Jess’ birthday card as well as finish up some cards I started in North Carolina so I can post them here.  Sometime in there I need to make my videos for next week!  I also need to cut for my Christmas card stamp-a-stack.  It will be another busy day so good thing I do not need to go anywhere again!

My creation today began with an idea sparked by the Merry Little Labels stamp set.  I wanted to use the Let It Snow stamp to make a snow card.  When I looked at the Star of Light set, I saw snowflakes in the little stamp.  I decided to run with it.  I stamped the snowflake all over the Whisper White layer using a second generation stamping with Marina Mist.  I also stamped several others on scrap paper so I could cut them out with the matching framelit.  I added some of the sparkle ribbon from Sale-a-bration before attaching the card layer to my Marina Mist card base.  Using the Let it Snow stamp, I colored it with my markers to get the different colors.  The image was cut out with scissors as I wanted to back it with the punch.  It is easy to do as I just cut on the stamped outside lines.  The Everyday Label punch was used with a piece of Marina Mist then the sentiment was added.  The sentiment layer was attached to the card front using dimensionals.  To finish off the card I added my punched snowflakes with dimensionals.  Here is my completed creation.
