Step It Up Sunday – simple changes, big payoff

Good Morning Everyone!

Well yesterday I was not as productive as I would have liked.  I don’t know where the day went but I did get in my craft room after dinner.  I managed to do some coloring and make a card.  Not as much as I would have liked to get done.  My Paper Pumpkin did come yesterday so I will be playing with that today so I can see what I can come up with.  I love sharing my “out of the box” thinking ” at my workshops and I have one next Saturday.

Today is Day 12 of the coloring challenge.  I can’t believe it is almost half way finished.

Today I thought I would do some coloring with my markers.  I have a great friend who loves poppies so I will use this for make a card for her.

Today is Step It Up Sunday.  I take the card from yesterday and step it.  I again used the colors form the Utah Divas International color challenge.

I paired the colors with the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches.     

To step it up I decided to make the card base white and add a layer of Pistachio Pudding.  I also took some Blushing Bride cotton ribbon and layered the gold ribbon on top.  Just a few simple changes but it steps it up.  Here is the stepped up version.
