Hello Stampers!
Well yesterday was a very productive day. I managed to clean up one flower bed and trim back all the lariope and grasses. I cleaned up my stamping table. And finally I did some creating. Today I will spend working on my projects for the week.
The first thing I did when I could play was to work on my coloring challenge. Today is Day 11.
I was checking out Pinterest when I saw a lady who posted about using your embossing folders as stamps. I had done this technique before but I had used my ink pad to ink up the folder. This lady used several colors and used her daubers to ink up the embossing folder with a variety of colors. I had played with a color challenge and liked the colors so I decided to use them for this technique. I used Blushing Bride, Pistachio Pudding, and So Saffron. Here is the background I created using this idea.
Because I used soft colors, they do not show up too well in the photo. It is a very pretty, soft background and will make a great card.
For my simple card today, I used the color challenge at Utah Divas International. They had the soft colors I used for the coloring project for today. I used the colors for a card though.

I had a customer place a large order with me and as a free item she chose the Lotus Blossom stamp set. I decided to do her a thank you card and send to her as an idea she could use for her card. Here is my creation.
