Hello Ladies ~ Ready for some Sugar and Spice today?
I was a little lazy yesterday afternoon. I had a lady come over to make up some classes and after she left I checked out Facebook and Pinterest. I finally hit my craft room late in the afternoon for a little bit. Then Jess grilled steaks for dinner and we had cheesecake for dessert. It was a nice ending to a relaxing day!
We had an interesting challenge at Make My Monday
When I think of my cards I think of them as being more sweet and cute rather than hot and spice. So I went with it. I used my glass block and scribbled some Old Olive, Watermelon Wonder, and Daffodil Delight marker on it. I spritzed it with water and the set it down on my watercolor paper. I watched it to make sure the ink had transferred and when the blending looked good, I took the block off and set it aside to dry. Once it was dry it was mounted onto a Watermelon Wonder card base. A strip of the new Pick a Pattern dsp. Using the Bold Butterfly and the Butterflies thinlits I cut out a Daffodil base and the black overlay. The Botanical Builder thinlits cut out my flower and leaves. Then I just added all the pieces to the card front and the card it complete. Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. Check out the other cards at Make My Monday to see what the other ladies created. Have a Marvelous Monday and what card will you create using the theme of Sugar and Spice?
