Sunday Ideas – masculine watercolor creation

Hello everyone – another watercolor panel was used to create the Sunday Ideas – masculine watercolor creation.
The green panel was screaming to be used for leaves. I had an idea to cut them out and add them to a stamped stick wreath. I am not sure it turned out like I thought it would. Let me know what you think.
Today’s Project
I searched my dies and stamps to find some leaves I could use. I stamped a few and fussy cut them to give it some extra interest. I then die cut a bunch of the leaves out. The wreath was stamped and the leaves were then glued around the wreath. I would have liked to have more leaves to add to the wreath but I used up all the paper.

When I finished the card ti was missing something. I was bringing the card downstairs and it hit me. I need to add some ink blending and some rub-ons in the corners. I think it added just what the card needed don’t you?

You can turn a plain watercolor background into something with texture using some salt. You can also create a fun watercolor background using shapes like the circles used on this card.
