Sunshine Sayings from Stampin’ Up

Good Morning Ladies ~ I stamped on some designer series paper for my Sunshine Sayings from Stampin’ Up creation.

Well they came yesterday morning and added the clorox to the well.  I had managed to get my shower and breakfast before he got there.  After they dump the clorox in the well, then they run water through the pipes so the clorox gets in the pipes.  The faucets are then turned off and the water has to sit in the pipes for at least 24 hours.  He will come back and turn on an outside faucet and run the water for another 24 to 48 hours to run off the clorox.  After that they test your water again and if it fails you have to repeat the process.  I am hoping the 1 time works as I will be out of the house another 3 days if it fails.  I have too much to do to be out of the house for so long.  I am using this time to get some computer work done and blog posts written.  I also brought some stamping I can work on.  One big task I brought with me I finished yesterday so that leaves me with time to do my stamping.   Hopefully I will get a lot done tomorrow.

Continuing on my Catalog Journey the next stamp set is Sunshine Sayings.  This one is a challenge  I wanted to use the images from the set.  I decided to try stamping on designer series paper.  I went looking and found a cute pattern in the Garden Impressions paper.  I used the flower and stamped it onto the paper using Shaded Spruce as well as a piece of Whisper White.  To make the leaves I used the designer series paper and Whisper White card stock and stamped them with the same ink.  I cut out all the pieces and set them aside.  I used the same designer series paper for my layout along with a piece of Pacific Point card stock.  After I had my layout I used the swish and Soft Sea Foam ink to stamp across the bottom of the card.  The flower was layered and added to the Pacific Point panel with dimensionals.  The leaves were added using glue dots.  I also used the butterfly thinlit to cut out 2 butterflies using Soft Sea Foam card stock.  They were added to the card using glue dots.  To finish of the Sunshine Sayings from Stampin’ Up card I added some rhinestones to the flower and butterfly.  Here is the completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I have to meet the handyman at the house today and take some things to a friend.  After that I will be playing with the stamping I brought with me.  Have a Terrific Tuesday and if you have the Sunshine Sayings from Stampin’ Up set, pull it out and stamp on some designer series paper!
