Hello Stampers ~ I have a pretty Swirly Bird Hello Handmade Card for you today.
Well best laid plans did not go as planned. I had wanted to get into my craft room yesterday. I cleaned out the garage after I walked and then came in and got my breakfast. I got an e-mail wanting me to sign for my loan as they had locked it in at a lower rate that I thought I would have. I have to print, sign, and scan the document to e-mail it back. Well I could print it without any trouble but it went downhill when I had to scan it. I talked to a tech support at Epson and he proceeded to tell me the issue I had was that only 2 of my drivers were running which was due to not having a Firewall. This made no sense to me and it only got worse. I finally said I was done and that I would see what I could find out. I proceeded to call my son-in-law to talk about a Firewall and he agreed it did not make sense. He helped me out by having me download updated drivers. After installing, restarting, unplugging devices etc. I finally got my scanner to work. I spent about 3 hours working on this. I also went over to the storage unit and got my shelves for the garage so I could put them together. I will do that today after I walk and then I can bring the things from that unit over. I will do it slowly so I can make sure it is organized. I will spend some time in my craft room as I have to make cards to go out!
Today’s card uses the Swirly Bird stamp set. I used the circles and leaves to make some flowers for my card. I began with a Whisper White panel and using the largest circle swirls I stamped the largest swirl with Coastal Cabana. The smaller swirl was stamped in the center of the large swirl using Bermuda Bay. The large leaves were added using Granny Apple Green. I added some small flowers around the large one using a second generation stamping of Gorgeous Grape and full strength Gorgeous Grape. The leaves also used Granny Apple Green. The ribbon is some of the retired Bermuda Bay and I added 3 strips at the top. The panel was then added to a Coastal Cabana card base. I tied 3 knots around the strips. For my sentiment I stamped it in Gorgeous Grape on a scrap of Whisper White. The 3/4″ circle punch was used to punch it out. The 1 1/8″ scallop circle was punched out of a scrap of Gorgeous Grape. The 2 circles were layered and then added to the card base using dimensionals. Here is my completed Swirly Bird Hello Handmade Card.

Your card is really pretty. I have used the swirly bird die cuts a lot but haven’t used the stamps. You’ve given me some inspiration.
Thanks Donna! So glad I could inspire you.
Love the colors
Thanks Betty Ann! I loved the colors and how it turned out also.
