Tag turned card

Hello Everyone!

Well I am on my way to California!  I am excited to see Michaela.  I have not seen her in a long time and it will be nice to catch up with her.

I used last week to check out my Pinterest page for cards I liked.  I decided to use some of them for inspiration for my blog.

I saw a cute tag at Rachel Tessman’s blog – Stamp your Art Out.  She had used it to go on treat bags.  I thought it would be cute on a card so I set about making my version.

Since she had made a tag and I wanted to use it on a card I knew I would need a background.  I made the tag similar to hers then decided to use the Chevron embossing folder to emboss the back layer.  I then attached the burlap ribbon and added the tag on top.  The panel was then added to the card base.  I needed a sentiment so I pulled out my Alphabet Rotary Stamp and decided to use the sentiment “Pumpkin Time”.  Here is my version of her tag.

My posts will be quick over the next few days.  I am doing them on Wednesday evening when I should be packing so I am not spending time chatting.
