Happy Monday Ladies!
Well what is the weather like in your area? It is still cold here. We were supposed to get some snow last night but as always I wait and see what happens.
Today is the challenge at Technostamper. Mary Jo gave us a simple sketch to use this week. I saw a beautiful Easter card on Pinterest and I loved the design idea. I decided to use the idea for my card today. I took a panel and covered it with ds paper. I cut a circle out of it using the framelits. I then laid the panel on my card base and traced a light circle using the cut out. This will help me with my placement.
I stamped the goose from the set inside the circle I traced. I then made a mask of the goose so I could stamp some grasses behind it. I used an aqua painter that was basically dry to add some color to the grass using the ink the lid method. I used the same method to add some color to the bottom of the goose. I used an eraser to erase the circle I traced.
I added lots of dimensionals to the edges and around the circle I cut out of the panel. I added my linen thread and used a retired SU brad. I attached it to the card base making sure to center it as well as I could. Here is what my final card looked like.
