Thank You Note
Happy Friday! – if you need a thank you note idea don’t miss this one.
Remi has had a great time with lots of crafting. On Wednesday we went to the Paint your own pottery place and she made a mug. It will be fired and we will pick it up on Sunday.
Then yesterday she did some more shrinky dinks. I had the plastic so we stamped some images using Staz-on and she used my alcohol markers to color them in. She was so excited to see them start to shrink and curl up then flatten back out. She has a bunch she has made. She still has 3 to color and finish. She will go home with quite a collection.
Today’s card was one I saw on the internet. I loved the layout and how the designer used the Pierced Blooms dies to create the flower. I used a scrap of pattern paper for my card so it is smaller than the one she used. I also added an embossed layer. The original card was a sunflower but I opted to use some fun colors to make my flower. I just love this thank you note idea.
I love designing with these dies. Check out this idea that use white die cut pieces. This card uses the same die used on today’s card for a different flower.
