The Paper Plunge – Blackberry Flowers

Hello Stampers!

I hope you are ready for Christmas.  The time is running short and I don’t know about you but I have a ton of things still left to do.  With Zoie being sick and being home it has been hard to get done what I need to do.  Hopefully I will get some time this weekend.

Today is the challenge at The Paper Plunge.  This week the challenge is White with a Pop of Color.  This can be a challenging card as we often don’t know how to get some interest in the card.  The best way to add interest is to add some texture.  You can do this by using embossing – both wet and dry.  You can also add interest by adding layers.  Layers give the eye a means to scan the entire card.

Now that I have given you some ideas I used in making my card,  I want to share with you my card.  I had a harder time deciding what color to add for my pop.  I also needed to decide what image I was going to use.  I didn’t want to use flowers but I was limited to the few stamps that I have unpacked from my reorganization.  I ended up using a flower but it does make it a quick card.  Here is my creation.

I hope you will head on over to The Paper Plunge blog to see the other awesome creations by the design team.  There is some fabulous talent on this team and you have got to check out what they made.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am hoping to get some time to organize my workspace as well as some time to play.  Have a Fabulous Friday!
