Happy Friday!
Well today Candice and I will be shopping for our food as well as setting up for tomorrow. I am excited as I know the ladies will enjoy their day of being creative. I will post some pictures tomorrow of the day.
The Paper Plunge challenge this week is “All the Single Ladies”! We were challenged to make a one layer card. I had a challenge for partial die cutting and decided to use that idea for my card this week.
I took my card base and marked the inside of the card front so it was divided in half. I then stamped my butterflies. I took my die and used painter’s tape to hold it in place. I then lined up half mark line I drew with the edge of the base plate having the majority of the card towards the Big Shot. Place the top plate on and run through the Big Shot. Since you are lining up the middle of the card with the edge of the base plate, you will only cut the half of the butterfly that is on the plate. Repeat with the other 2 butterflies. Use a good eraser and erase the pencil line you made.
Once you have all the butterflies half cut out, take your card to your Simply Scored and score the card stock between the butterflies. Then score the top down to the first butterfly and the bottom up to the last butterfly. Take the card front and fold back on top of itself allowing the cut butterflies to stay open. Decorate the front and inside edge that shows with the ferns in the set. Here is my creation.

Great idea and one that I will leave with you! I really don't have a one layer favorite card, but this would be added to the list if I had one…lol! Very pretty and sweet! Enjoy your day tomorrow and hope you can rest on Sunday!
