The Paper Plunge – Valentine’s

Happy Friday Stampers!

Well I wanted to let you know that I think I saw the Wicked Witch of the West fly by earlier today.  We had strong winds again but this time it was combined with cold temperatures so I was freezing all day.  I am so looking forward to some warmer weather and sun!

Today the challenge at The Paper Plunge is all about Valentine’s Day.  This week we are all creating Valentine’s to share with you.

I decided to use some of my items from last month’s Paper Pumpkin.  We got supplies to put together 20 little treat bags.  I do not need 20 bags so I decided to make a sample of each bag and then use the other pieces to make cards.  Here is the first one.

I took the piece that was to fold over the bag and help seal it shut.  I folded the piece and then stamped one of the sentiments inside.  I stamped my heart and punched it out.  I punched out the flags and attached them to the back of the heart.  I held the tag and heart together with the clip.  I tied the baker’s twine around the clip.  To attach the tag to the card I used sticky strip as the clip causes the tag to stick up at the top.  I wanted to make sure it stayed on my card.  Here is my final creation.

So how many Valentine’s have you made?  Do you have all you need?  We would love to have you play along with us.  Head on over to The Paper Plunge blog to see what the other ladies created and then link up your project with ours.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am hoping the wind dies down today so it won’t be so cold.  I have a play date today with my friend Renee.  We are going to work on a class we both signed up to take to learn more about gelatos.  I am excited to spend time playing.  Have a Fabulous Friday!
