Thinking Outside the Box

Happy Friday Ladies ~ Do you ever do some Thinking Outside the Box?

Well my tax appointment was not good.  I have to pay in big time!  I have some thinking to do about what I am going to do this year so I don’t have to pay in so much next year!  I have a couple of options so I just have to find the one that will best fit my needs.

I was looking through my catalog the other day and one of the pictures grabbed my attention.  I was looking at the image and all of a sudden an idea hit me.  While I did not have the stamp set, I did have the framelit and could achieve the same idea.  I decided to use the Star Blast Edgelit and do some Thinking Outside the Box.

I decided to cut the edgelit out of Pear Pizzazz.  I mounted it onto my Whisper White card base.  Then I used the Birthday Blossoms set and stamped the single flower onto Pink Pirouette.  I used the pansy punch to punch it out.  Next I used the Petite Petals set to stamp one of the flowers onto Rich Razzleberry and used the matching punch to punch it out.  The final flower was stamped with the retired Something to Say and punched out with the matching retired punch from Daffodil Delight.  I then used glue dots to attach the flowers to the sprays of the Star Blast.  This gave me a flower spray.  To make it look like it was in the ground, I cut a piece of Early Espresso and tore the edge.  I added this over top of the Pear Pizzazz.  I needed some Bling cause you know everything is better with Bling so I added some rhinestones to the center of my flowers.  My flower spray was complete.  To finish off my card I added a double bow of the retired Seam Binding in Pink Pirouette.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I need to clean my house today and I am hoping to play a little in my craft room.  Have a Fabulous Friday and try some of your own Thinking Outside the Box!
