Hello Ladies ~ Can you guess what our Thursday’s Focus is this week?
Well I spent yesterday making a card I saw on the internet. Someone in my demo Facebook group shared her card and it was so cute I went looking for the directions. I found it and will be sharing it in the next few days.
Thursday means it is our Thursday’s Focus. This week we are focusing on the Sealed With Love Suite. We could use the stamps or the framelits or both. You should have arrived here from Joni’s blog – Joni in the Spotlight Stamping.
I wanted to play with some challenges so I checked out my challenge blogs. The sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches was a great one to play with.
I started by creating my background. I used the Happy Heart embossing folder and a piece of white card stock. I was going to mount it onto a Real Red card base and the paper I was using was red and white. After I embossed the piece I set it on my card base and then decided to use the debossed side. Using some Tear & Tape I attached the layer to my card base. Now I needed to choose my paper. The Sending Love dsp has some great paper. I chose one that was polka dots and another that had strings of hearts on it. I cut the 2 banners and used the Banner Triple punch to flag the ends. Tear & Tape was again used to attach them to my card base. I used the polka dot paper for one of the rectangles. Dimensionals attached it to my card base. Now to do the top rectangle. I chose to use some of the stamps from the set so I stamped them in Real Red. This layer was also added with dimensionals. My card is complete. Here is my finished creation.
