Tranquil Textures Touches of Texture

Hello Stampers ~ I have a clean and simple Tranquil Textures Touches of Texture creation today.

Yesterday I spent the day in my craft room working on my cards for my blog.  With having the girls this weekend and into next week I want to have all my posts ready to go.  That meant working ahead. I managed to get my cards created through next Tuesday so I am pleased.  I will work on Tuesday’s card tomorrow and I need to  make my video for Friday.  I made the card and totally forgot to record it so I will recreate it tomorrow in a video and then I am set.  I am headed to the yarn store today.  It was good to knit last week and I am looking forward to it again today.

There are some great papers in the new catalog and the pictures do not do it justice.  You really need to see it in person.  That is why my Mixed Bag kits are perfect for checking out the designer series paper.  You can see the kits I have available by checking out my Mixed Bags here.  For my creation today I played with some of the Tranquil Textures designer series paper.  I love the pattern I used on my card.  I have created several cards using this pattern.  For the creation today I used Mint Macaron card base.  Next I cut a piece of the patterned paper and mounted it onto a piece of Tranquil Tide card stock.  I used the splatter stamp from the Touches of Texture set and stamped them in the upper left hand portion on the card base using Fresh Fig ink.  A strip of the silver metallic edged ribbon was added down the left hand side of the patterned paper strip.  This panel was added to the right hand side of the card base front.  The image was stamped using Fresh Fig and Tranquil Tide ink and then cut out using the Layering Ovals.  The scallop layer is Fresh Fig card stock and was cut using the Layering Ovals also.  My Tranquil Textures Touches of Texture creation is complete.
