Hello Everyone ~ don’t you just love Tranquil Tulips in Red?
Where did yesterday go? I felt like I got up and all of a sudden it was time to go to bed. I did not get any crafting time in but I did do some planning for some upcoming classes. That means I will be in high gear to get it done today! Since I don’t have to go anywhere and I don’t have any appointments I have until 5:00 when Jess gets home to get 2 classes designed. I can do this but I have to stay focused! I am on a mission!
Today I have another card that created in North Carolina. My friend has the Tranquil Tulips set and I opted for a simple card. I began by stamping the Tranquil Tulips in red and adding some soft dots using the retired Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and Smoky Slate ink around it. I then brought this panel home to finish up my card. Using a top folding card in Real Red, I embossed the front of the card base with the Hexagons embossing folder. The stamped image panel was added with dimensionals. To finish off the card I added a bow using some of the new Real Red 1/8″ ribbon in the Holiday catalog. Here is the completed creation.
