Tres Jolie 2 page layout

There are many sizes of scrapbook pages. I used the 6″ x 8″ size to make my 2 page spread today.
Today’s Project
Did you know you can combine different sizes in your scrapbook albums? You can use the 12 x 12 size or even a smaller size. I used a smaller size as I like it.
The gold metallic paper was used to brighten up the paper. To compliment the scroll chipboard piece I used a die cut with a flourish and added it to the top of the photo mat.
The chipboard piece was painted with Gesso and then I used my ink cubes to color it. I totally forgot to use my heat tool to dry the ink and got some ink on the white photo mat. So glad the photo will cover the ink! Make sure you use your heat tool to dry the ink!
About my layouts
Base – 6″ x 8″ choose 2 patterns that go together
gold Layer – 4 3/8″ x 4 3/8″
green for flourish – scrap
white photo mat layer – 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
The other items – chipboard flower and butterflies – were from the kit.
