Hello Everyone ~ the Tropical Chic Creative Challenge was fun to create using Purple Posy.
Well I got my porch cleaned off. There was a lot of pollen on it. But everything is clean now and when it is dry I can sit out there and eat my lunch or dinner. I can’t wait! Now the next big task I have to do is clean out the garage. That means I have to take everything out and sweep it out. I will do that when it is a cool morning. Maybe sometime later this week depends on what I have to do. I also made some cards for posting this week. I did the sheets and towels also. I would say it was a successful day!
Today I am going to work on some Thank You cards and the mask cards. I also have my Facebook Live at noon so I have to prepare for that. I ordered some padded envelopes from USPS so I am hoping they come in today. I have some Kids Kits to mail out and want to get them in the mail. Hopefully they will come today so I can mail them out tomorrow.
Today’s card was the result of a Mystery Creative Challenge. One of the groups I am in on Facebook posted this yesterday.
All the details for the card are there but you have to decide how to put them together. I began with the Best Dressed designer series paper and chose my colors from it. I chose to have the main color the Purple Posy. That meant I would also use it for the flowers. The leaves would then be the Mint Macaron and Pretty Peacock. Since the other layers were very close together I decided to use Whisper White for the bottom layer and Pretty Posy for the one top. I did emboss that layer using the Subtle embossing folder. The designer series paper seemed lost so I added a layer of Pretty Peacock card stock. It also needed something so I added a bow of the Whisper White crinkled seam binding. For the die cuts I used the Tropical Chic and the colors from the designer series paper. I created the Tropical Chic Creative Challenge below using the layers from the directions.

This set will retire at the end of the month so make sure you order it soon. If you want some more ideas, check out this simple card. Here is a great card that uses a decorative border for a pretty card. And who doesn’t love a dramatic card like this one that uses Basic Black for a dramatic effect.
