Twisted One Sheet Wonder Thanks

Hello Everyone ~ I have another idea for the Twisted One Sheet Wonder Thanks card.

I had a great Facebook Live yesterday.  I demonstrated a fun technique.  This time I showed how to use scraps of designer series paper to make the Mosaic Tiled card.  My next Facebook Live is Thursday, May 21st at 7:30 pm EST.  Mark your calendars and join us using the link below.

After my Facebook Live I went to the post office.  Our post office closes from 1:00 – 2:30 so I had to wait until it was open again.  Since it rained yesterday morning Barb and I walked after I got back from the post office.  By then it was dinner time so I did not get my other task completed.  I will be working on it some more today.

I saw a twist on a One Sheet Wonder idea from a demonstrator in the United Kingdom.  I have played with this using other stamp sets but this time I put a twist on the technique.  I took my piece of card stock and cut off 1/2″ so it measured 8″ x 11″.  Next I drew lines to divide the card stock in half in the portrait position.  Then I divided the piece in half in the landscape position.  I took 1 side and then divided it into half in the landscape position.  That gave me 6 panels ~ two that were 4″ x 5″ and four that were 3″ x 4″.   Using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set I stamped my images along the lines I drew on the card stock.  The photo below shows what it looked like when I had finished the stamping.  I forgot to take the photo before I cut it up to make a card earlier so the upper right hand corner has a completed card since I had to recreate the card stock for this picture.

I decided to use one of the 3″ x 4″ panels to create my card for today.  I mounted this panel onto a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Blackberry Bliss.  The sentiment came from the same stamp set and was stamped using Blackberry Bliss ink.  Some of the Gold metallic edge ribbon was used to add a bow at the top.  The Mossy Meadow card front was embossed using the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to add the image layer to the center of the card front.  Here is the completed Twisted One Sheet Wonder Thanks creation.

Here are some other ideas of Twisted One Sheet Wonders.  This idea uses the Daisy Lane stamp set.  Here is one that uses the Painted Harvest set.  And here is an idea that used one of the larger panels from the Beautiful Bouquet sheet from above.
