Unity Advent Calendar – Day 10 thank you

Hello everyone – today’s idea began with the Unity Advent Calendar – Day 10 thank you stamp.
When I saw the heart thank you stamp I knew I wanted to use heart punches to layer it on my card. I pulled out 3 I had to make the heart element.
Today’s Project
I had an idea that the rooster pattern paper from Unity would be a good paper to use. I pulled out one of the patterns and found a check that would go with it. When I layered the 2 patterns you really could not see the chickens. You do see the beautiful flowers though so it was perfect to go either way the sentiment.

The layered hearts were just the element the sentiment needed. I chose the checked pattern so the sentiment element would be the main focal point. To finish off this simple card, I added some gold adhesive backed sequins.

I have used the heart punches many times. This card uses the punches layered like I did on today’s card. On this card I uses some strips of the pattern paper I had to make banners.
