Unity Advent Calendar – Day 19 butterfly
Happy Friday Stampers – another Spring/Summer stamp was found for today’s Unity Advent Calendar – Day 19 butterfly.
I searched my stash for some pretty paper for today’s card. I ran across a collection I had not used in quite some time. It had a pattern that gave me an idea for today’s card.
Today’s Project
I found 3 patterns in the collection I could combine to make a card. I tried several different colors for layers but none of them looked good with the pattern paper. I decided to try a medium green and it worked. I think the green makes the flowers pop.
The flowers were soft pastel colors so I decided to use a soft purple to stamp my butterfly. I am thinking it might have been better if the purple had been darker as it blends in with the flowers. To finish off the card I used some light purple gems.
