Unity Advent Calendar – Day 22 owl
Hello everyone – wow the days have gone by so quickly and her is the Unity Advent Calendar – Day 22 owl card.
With only a few days left in the calendar this stamp was one created for Fall. That cute owl needed some leaves and I found a great pattern paper to use with him.
Today’s Project
When I saw the owl I immediately thought of Fall and colorful leaves. I checked my stash and found a pattern in the Harvest collection that I absolutely love. I cut my paper in strips based on the layout. With the colors in the paper, I chose to stamp the owl with a medium brown but you could also stamp him in gray.
This layout is perfect for using up your scraps. It uses 4 strips of pattern paper. I chose to layer them on a Copper metallic paper. I found some Copper sequins in my stash that I added to the card also.

dark brown cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
copper metallic cardstock – 1 3/4″ x 3 1/4″
3/4″ x 3 1/4″ – 2 pieces
3/4″ x 4 1/4″ – 2 pieces
pattern paper – multicolored leaves – 1/2″ x 3″ – 2 pieces
1/2″ x 4″ – 2 pieces
