Today I am sharing part of the gifts I sent my virtual roommate from my vc rocks group. Many of us did not go to the SU convention this year so in the vc rocks group you could sign up for a virtual roommate. You were paired with another person who became your roommate. As with the real convention you were to make a few gifts to send to your roommate just like you would do if you were going to convention. I have 2 of my gifts I wanted to share with you.
The first is a little notepad with a cover. These are lined paper notepads you can get in Wal-mart. They come in a package of 3 – a pink one, a blue one, and a purple one. I added this cute cover to help protect the paper inside.
Her favorite snack is chocolate. With the heat here – and in Texas where she lives – I did not want to send anything that would melt. In talking to a friend she mentioned that she had gotten hot chocolate in a cone shaped that used the marshmallows and chocolate chips to make it look like an ice cream cone. I thought that would be perfect. I went looking for the cone shaped plastic bags and could not find them. I ended up putting in all the ingredients in a zip lock bag and doing a topper with a poem.
