It’s finally the weekend ladies ~ I love the colors in my Vertical Greetings with Whole Lot of Lovely and Fresh Florals card!
Well the painters are gone and will be back in 2 weeks. I have one room and a closet they need to do. I will spend the next 2 weeks getting those rooms ready and my craft room put back together. I cannot find anything right now and it is so frustrating. When I am making a card and want something I have to search through several boxes to see if I can find it. Yesterday it took me over an hour to find my Archival Black stamp pad I needed for my card. I was ready to give up when I finally found it. I am hoping to have some kind of order to my things by next weekend.
I decided to play with my Vertical Greetings stamp set for my card today. To decide what colors I was going to use, I picked out 2 papers to use. My colors for the stamp came from one of those papers. Markers were used to add color to the stamp. I chose the circle topiary. The greenery was first colored with Pool Party then I used Tranquil Tide to add some color around the edges and dots of color scattered on the greenery. The stem was colored with Early Espresso and the pot was colored with Crushed Curry. It was then stamped onto a panel of Whisper White. A piece of Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon was added at the bottom and a bow was added with glue dots. A strip of Fresh Florals dsp was added to the right hand side of the panel. Next to it a strip of Whole Lot of Lovely dsp was added. This panel was added to a Tranquil Tide card base. My Vertical Greetings with Whole Lot of Lovely and Fresh Florals card was complete.
