Warm Wishes

Hello Ladies ~ Are you ready for some warm wishes today?

Wow yesterday was crazy!  Zoie was overwhelmed with all the gifts.  She was tearing through gifts and asking where’s the next one.  She did not even care if they were her gifts or not.  I think if you had asked her after she had finished opening everything what she got she could not have told you.  She just wanted to open gifts.  On the other hand Remi was the exact opposite.  She would open a gift and the spend time playing with it or if it was clothes she would strip down and put on the new things.  It was crazy fun watching the 2 differences.

I took some time to play with some different watercoloring toys I had.  I wanted to work on making some winter backgrounds.  I had fun using all different mediums.  Today I am sharing a card I made using some Gelatos.  I began with a turquoise blue color.  I used some watercolor paper and a water palette.  I smooshed some Gelatos in the well.  Using my paint brush, I added water and mixed it up.  Then using the brush I spread it all over the watercolor paper.  I let it dry and when it was it was flat to me so I decided to add some purple.  I followed the same procedure as with the turquoise but watered it down a lot so it would not be too dark.  When it was dry it had a sparkle to it which was from the Gelatos.  I decided to stamp the snowflake from the Tin of Tags set and emboss it with white embossing powder.  I added a strip of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.  I had gotten the Tin of Tags project kit and did a lot of the tags up with a winter theme.  I pulled out one that had colors that somewhat matched the background.  Some Fancy Frost Sequins were added and my card was complete.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Not sure what I am going to do today.  I may play in my craft room or I may go test drive a car.  I hope you have some fun plans!  Have a Marvelous Monday and I hope you enjoyed my Warm Wishes play!
