Washi Tape – the perfect accent!

Good Morning Everyone ~ I love using Washi Tape to add a little accent.

Well we are finally on our way.  Yesterday was crazy.  Remi scratched Jess’ eyeball so we spent 3 hours in the emergency room.  After that we had to get her medicine.  I had an appointment at 3:30 and then had to pick up the girls from my sister’s.  Once I got them home I had to meet a friend who had ordered me an oil I needed.  Needless to say I did not get home until about 7:00 last night.  I began vacuuming right away.  I did manage to get my vacuuming done but did not get my scrapbook pages for my class finished.  I know what I want to do so I will make them when I get back.  I had a few other tasks I needed to get done but since I will be doing all the driving today I decided to skip then and say Oh Well!

My creation today used one of my favorite images.  I love the flower spray in Touches of Texture and knew it would be a great image to add some Washi Tape.  I stamped it several times using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Then I used my Melon Mambo, Old Olive, and Blushing Bride markers to color it in.  The sentiment is from One Big Meaning and is stamped with Melon Mambo ink.  The image panel was added to an Old Olive layer then added to the Whisper White card front with dimensionals.  A strip of Basics Pack 1 washi tape in the lower right hand corner just under the image panel.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  Wish me luck today.  I hope I am not so tired after yesterday for the driving.  It will be a 9 hour or more drive.  Have a Great Day and try some Washi Tape on your next creation.
