Hello Everyone ~ my Watercolor Background Technique for Stampin’ Up daisy card today has a little twist this time.
Well I had to totally change my plans for yesterday. I need to get my April class preorder ready to launch so after my Facebook Live I spent the rest of the day working on it. People who are subscribed to my newsletter hear about it first. If you want to be one of the first to hear about my classes and get all my projects make sure you sign up for my newsletter using the form on the right. Don’t miss out on all the fun!
I have a busy day today also. I will be at the yarn store in the morning and then I need to go to a visitation for the young lady killed in the school shooting in our area. Her mom has come into the yarn store to knit with us as well the young girl did also. Once I get home I need to do my Fast & Fabulous video for tomorrow. So much to do and so little time!
Today I have another watercoloring background created with ink on the acryllic block. This time I used Pool Party and Soft Sky. I put my reinker on my block and spritzed it with water. Then the watercolor paper was added to the block. When I picked it up, imagine my surprise when I saw a pattern. I saw wondering how I got the pattern. Do you have any ideas as to what could have done it? If you want to know after you see the card, read to the bottom as I will tell you what I realized several several hours later. After my watercolor paper had dried, I cut it down. I made 3 of the daisy flowers using Soft Sky and the punch. I curled 2 down and one up and then layered them staggering the petals. The completed daisy was added to the lower right hand corner of the watercolor background using dimensionals. To finish it off I added a large faceted rhinestone. My card was missing something so I pulled out my favorite silver metallic edge ribbon and added a bow. This panel was attached to my Whisper White card base using Tear & Tape. Here is the completed Watercolor Background Technique for Stampin’ Up Daisy card.
