Watercolor Purple Creations

I’m back with more VSN cards.  I hope some of you are interested in doing some of these challenges next month.  If anyone would like to join me next month and work on our challenges together, let me know.  It would be fun to work on them with someone else.

Our next challenge was based on the children’s author Eric Carle.  Since many of his books use watercolor we were to use watercoloring on our card.  This is right up my alley as I love to watercolor.

After that challenge I was use purple to create a card.  Again I thought of Halloween and I had the cutest stamp to use.  It was a stamp of witch feet.  I wanted to use glitter so that it would have lots of sparkle.  I used crystal effects which was thicker than I would have liked.  I have to find some way to use glitter without the thickness.  The witch feet had to be completed in phases as the glitter would run together if I did it all at once.  I also like the fact that I combined the dotted and striped ribbon.  I use a cuttlebug folder that I had inked up for the background.  I know there is a better way to do this and I need to find out how to do it.  Anyone out there ever done this?  What did I do wrong?  Here are my two cards for these challenges.
