Soft Flower Fest

Good Morning Ladies!

Well the heat has finally hit.  We have had dangerous heat the past 2 days.  Good reason to stay inside and stamp!

My creation today uses the color challenge from Create, Ink!

I combined it with Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.

I saw on someone’s blog how they stamped the flower from Flower Fest and then used the marker to trace the inside of the petals.  They had done the flower in blues.  I decided to use Soft Suede to stamp it and Baja Breeze to trace the petals.  This is the first time I have used the baker’s twine.  I have both the brown and cherry and have not used it.  Every time I go to use it, it just doesn’t look right.  I have to say it looks fine this way.  Just need to experiment more and see if it works.  Here is what I created.

Hope you liked today’s creation.  I am so excited as today is the day that they release the retiring list, let demo’s preorder, and order new catalogs.  I am placing a demo order today with the new in colors and what ever else I see on the preorder I like.  I am also going to pay for 3 day shipping so I have my catalog ASAP as they are putting demo’s catalogs in their first order.  I am so excited to see what new goodies we have.  Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
