Hello Everyone ~ ready to find out What type of crafter are you?
Well I had to go to the house yesterday to help with some decisions. When I got there the roofers were there fixing the gables with the metal roofing, the tile guy was there working on the master bath, and the trim guy was there working on the chair rail. There were a lot of people running around. I left the lot and stopped by the granite store to talk to them about the placement of my reverse osmosis faucet. I asked her when they were going to start and she said it could be today. I have a feeling the painting will be happening soon also. Things are starting to really pick up. I will be glad when all of this type of work is completed so no more problems will arise that has to be dealt with.
There has been lots of positive feedback for my January Exclusively Cards online class. I used the Butterfly Gala bundle for this class but with the Butterfly Duet on backorder, I created some add ons using the Lemon Zest and Daisy bundles. Check out this snippet of one of the cards and make sure you join all the rest of the people who have signed up for the class.

When I went to Convention last November they presented to use 3 types of crafters ~ the beginning, the casual, and the avid crafter. I met with some local demos for a play date and we used this idea to design sets of card fronts for 2 stamp sets. I thought I would share with you one of the sets I created.
The beginner crafter will have limited supplies. They will probably have Whisper White card stock, a black stamp pad, and a stamp set. They may also have one other color ink pad and the coordinating card stock. With that they are limited with what they can do. Here is a card they could create with limited supplies. I stamped the image using the colored ink onto Whisper White card stock. The sentiment was also stamped using the same ink. This panel was mounted onto a layer of the coordinating card stock. These panels will be added to a Whisper White card base.
The next stamper is the casual stamper. This stamper will have stamps, paper, ink, punches/thinlits, and embellishments for a bundle. The idea for the casual stamper began by taking the same image and inking it up with markers. It is stamped onto Whisper White and then fussy cut out. This image was mounted onto a piece of Whisper White using dimensionals where the edges are sponged. This panel was added to a panel of the same color. This layered panel was then added to a Whisper White panel. The sentiment was stamped using the other color used for the image. The pearls are added to step it up from the first card. This panel will be attached to a card base of the same color.
The final crafter is your avid crafter. This crafter will have all the items from a bundle along with some other product they can use. They are also the one who is always looking for fancy fold and technique ideas. The card the avid crafter will create may begin with the Pattern Party masks and a background is created by sponging color onto the panel. Some of the Silver metallic edge ribbon was added on the left hand side along with a bow. This panel was then added to a same color panel. The flower was then stamped using the black ink. To color the flower the stamper will use the coloring with glycerine technique. Once the image is colored it is fussy cut and then added to the panel using dimensionals. To finish off the card, some rhinestones were added. These panels will be added to a Whisper White card base.
