White Baker’s Twine

White Baker’s Twine

Hello Everyone – is white baker’s twine a ribbon?

What is your favorite embellishment to use on your cards? Mine is ribbon. I especially love soft ribbon that is easy to tie. Not all ribbon falls into this category and when it is hard to tie I find I look for other ways to use it.

Today’s ribbon does not fall into the category of hard to tie. The white baker’s twine I used is very soft and makes a fun floppy bow. Knowing that it was the perfect ribbon to choose for my project today.

The challenge this time at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a color challenge.

When I looked at these colors I immediately thought Fall. So I went looking for a stamp set I could use to make a Fall card. I was playing with a stamp set for my August Advanced Class that has images that are good for several seasons so I chose to use it.

I kept it quick and easy as things are busy here and I figured you could use a quick card idea also. The flowers were stamped with 2 of the colors and then fussy cut. To bring in the other color I used some pattern paper in that color.

Do you see that baker’s twine I tied around the top of the pattern paper? That bow is so soft and loopy and the perfect compliment for those flowers. Here is my creation using White Baker’s Twine.

Using white baker's twine for a soft loopy bow can add just the right accent for your card. Click the photo and be inspired to make your own card.

Here is another quick and easy card that uses a fussy cut flower. If you need a fast birthday card, check out this one that could be made with any pattern paper and die cut.
