Word Clustering

Good Morning Stampers ~ I was playing with Word Clustering for my card.

Our plan for today is to go to the County Fair in the morning.  Josh shared a picture of the fair on Facebook and Jess asked when it was.  At it turns out today is the last day so we will go this morning and have some fun.  Not sure what is on the schedule for the rest of the day.

At Card a Day Challenge they had a Technique challenge.

Clustering

I had never tried this but it was a lot of fun!  I kept my card simple and used a ombre type look using different shades of yellow and coral for the words.  I put the words on a blog and inked them up with So Saffron.  I stamped it along the bottom reinking each time I stamped.  I cleaned the stamps and then used Daffodil Delight for the next row.  After cleaning the stamps I repeated using Peekaboo Peach.  The last row was Calypso Coral.  The key here is to stamp the first row and when you go to stamp the next row to stagger the block so the words are not in the same place.  It is easy if your stamps are photopolymer.  After I had my clustering completed I cut out the hello using Basic Black card stock and attached it to my card panel using multipurpose glue.  To finish off the card I added some candy dots in the colors of the inks.  Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Will you take some time to be creative this afternoon?  Have a Super Saturday and give Word Clustering a try!
