World Card Making Day Cards
Hello Everyone – I am going to share my World Card Making Day Cards with you today and maybe one of them will inspire you.
I was one of the admins in a Facebook group that was all about World Card Making Day. There were 4 of us and we each did a presentation. I loved this as I was able to play along with the other ladies. I am going to share some of the cards I made from the day and the rest I will share later this week.
The first presentation was by Vicky. She had a great masculine card for us using the Sailing Home stamp set. I did not have the pattern paper she used so I pulled out a piece of the Beauty of the Earth pattern paper. She actually had a second card that used the other half of the square. I will share it later this week. After I had it together I think it would have looked better with a Night of Navy card base as it would have matched the pattern paper better.
The second presentation was from Bronwyn. She had a fancy fold for us. She used the Penguin Place bundle along with the Sale-a-bration Penguin Playmates pattern paper. This is a fun birthday card. I love how she used the balloon to keep the card closed. She added a panel on the back side of the Fresh Freesia snowflake fold. You really don’t need to do that as it does not show. Here is the card we made using her demonstration.
Here is top view photo of the card opened.
The last card I am sharing today is actually one I made for a sketch challenge we had. I love the Whimsy & Wonder pattern paper. I decided to use it for this idea. I just love the color combination of Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron. The Mossy Meadow makes it pop!
I hope you enjoyed my cards today and they have inspired you in some way. Have a Sensational Sunday and take some time to make a card and send a card!
