There is a big storm coming up the coast from the south. Depending on the track of the storm we may or may not get snow. As of last night at 11 they say only a few inches. I will be watching the weather tonight to see if they change that forecast.
My card today is for Challenge 103 at Late Night Stampers. Our challenge was to create a project that makes you say “brrrrrrr”. All I could think about when I hear brrrrrr is cold hands. That makes me think of mittens so I went with that.
I got a mitten pattern from someone in the group quite a few months ago. I decided this was the perfect challenge to use it for. I printed the pattern and cut it out. Then I traced around it with a pencil. I traced over the pencil with the Bravo Burgundy marker and cut it out. I then used some ds paper to make the top and stamped some snowflakes with the same color ink. I also used Versamark and Iridescent Ice to add some other snowflakes that you can see in the picture. When it was finished I spritzed the card with shimmer mist. It is very sparkly. Here is my creation.
