Good Morning Stampers ~ I have a You’ve Got This in Pink card for you today.
Well there was a new words used yesterday in connection with the huge snowstorm that is plaguing the east coast. “Bombogenesis” has appeared on several weather pages. Another one is “bomb cyclone”. I guess they were so surprised that the storm was so large and affecting so many places up and down the east coast that they had to create their own words to describe this event. It will be interesting to see how much snow really happened in the various states on the east coast.
If you remember I mentioned I had cleaned up my craft room last week and I ran across several images I had colored. I used them to create some cards. Today I am sharing another card that I made using one of those images. I stamped the image and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then used my watercolor pencils to color it. When I was happy with the way it looked, I used a small paintbrush to blend the pencil. It was too pretty not to make into a card. I also ran across some watercolored backgrounds I had created also. One of them was a pale pink on Shimmery White card stock. I took the image layer and added it to a piece of pale pink using dimensionals. A Powder Pink card base was created and a piece of the black and white Pick a Pattern dsp was added. The image layers were then added to the card base. To finish off the card, I added some of the black rhinestones that are now retired. Here is my completed You’ve Got This in Pink Card.
