Good Afternoon!
I had some more color and sketch challenges I wanted to participate in so I hit the craft room again. The first was the color challenge at Diva Coffee Break Designs. You were to use Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, Garden Green, and Kraft. I have to admit when I saw this color combination my first thought was “Ugh, what can I do with this”! So I decided to go looking for a sketch and maybe I would get some inspiration. I ran across a sketch on the Stamping 411 blog and when I saw it I thought of fall leaves. This fit perfectly with the color combination so I ran with it.
I do not have any current Stampin’ Up fall sets, but I love the leaves from Fall Whimsy to I used them. I embossed my leaves using StazOn Timber Brown. I then used daubers and the stamp pads to color them. I mounted everything on Kraft. I love the look of this card. What do you think? Here is the sketch and my creation.
