The past 2 days we have had gorgeous weather. It has been around 50 and sunny. I was even able to walk. It is supposed to start raining tonight and rain all day tomorrow. They are saying we will get quite a bit of rain. Hopefully we won’t be dealing with flooding.
Today’s card uses the color challenge from a new blog Colour Q I found. I combined it with a sketch challenge from the 2 Sketches 4 You blog. When I saw the color challenge of Barely Banana, Basic Gray, Certainly Celery, Pumpkin Pie, and white I was so unsure of what to do. I knew I could use flowers but was unsure how to work in the Basic Gray. I pulled out my catalog and ran across the truck in Loads of Love and when I saw the bunch of flowers in the set I knew I could make this work. Once I had the image panel completed I then had to tackle the element below the panel. All of a sudden it hit me to have punches flowers hanging from the panel. Here is the sketch and my creation.
