Hello Stampers!
Our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop is today. We have a short one as everyone was busy this week. Our colors this week were
Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Tangerine Tango
OR
Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpink Pie
I was not certain which color choice I was going to use this time. So I needed some inspiration. I decided to check out my challenge blogs.
I found a “Just Frame It” challenge at Just Add Ink and decided to use some frames. Once I wanted to use the frame idea I went looking at my designer series paper and found that Venetian Romance had Tangerine Tango so I decided to go with the first set of colors.
I then liked the sketch challenge at Utah Divas International and thought they would be great for the frames so I used it.
I also wanted to use the technique challenge at Technique Time Tuesday which was faux silk. I used that technique on the “My Friend” and top panels.
Here is what I created using all of those challenges.

Usually for the faux silk you use black ink but I wanted to use colored for a twist. The only thing you have to be careful about is that your ink is not too wet as it will bleed on your tissue paper if it is.
Are you ready to see what the other ladies created? Hop on down to Carols’s Cards to see what Carol created using one of these color combos.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. Thanks for looking and have Wonderful Wednesday!

I love the dramatic effect of the black frames, Robbie; your card front looks like pictures hanging on a wall. Really lovely! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. 🙂
Your black frames really make your ink colours pop Robbie, great way to use our Just Add Ink challenge, thanks for playing.
