Hello Everyone!
I was a busy bee yesterday but I got everything done I wanted to. I packed the car and did everything I could last night so this morning would be less hectic. I am so hoping everyone likes my things!
Today I used the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches
I had not played with it in a while so I knew it would be an easy one to do. I decided to use Awesomely Artistic and I had intended to use the dragon fly in the set. I stamped the bush and then went looking for colors. I decided to start with a green so I chose Mint Macaroon. I colored all the leaves. Then I wanted a color for the flowers. I used a color site that allows you to put in a color and it will suggest other colors to use with it. One of the colors that came up that I liked was Elegant Eggplant. So I started coloring the flowers. After I had colored a couple of the flowers, it was too dark for all the flowers so I decided to use a lighter purple with it. I was thinking Perfect Plum but decided on Wisteria wonder instead. I finished coloring all my flowers and put the rest of the card together using some of the Subtles Collection paper stack for the background. When I had the card finished I realized I needed a horizontal strip at the bottom. What better thing to use but my glimmer paper. I pulled out a piece of gold and added a thin strip at the bottom. My card was done! Here is my interpretation of the sketch.
