Wow it got chilly last night. I was freezing and even sat with a blanket in the evening. I think it was because it was overcast and damp. I always get chilly on those days. Today is supposed to be a little warmer and the partly sunny so it should be better. I plan on spending time in my studio as I need to make my card for Saturday. I also have some designing to do for upcoming classes. It will be a fun play day!
I have a pretty card for you today. The Happy Birthday to You stamp set has a great cake. The flowers on the cake can also be used individually and there are dies for the cake and the flowers. To make my card I stamped the image on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To color it in I used my colored pencils. I then mounted the colored image onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss that was embossed using the Scripty 3D embossing folder. This panel was then attached to a Whisper White card base. To finish off the card I tied a double bow and added it with a glue dot in the upper left hand corner. Here is the completed Clean and Simple Feminine Card.

I love feminine cards. Here is another idea using the same stamp set as the one above. If you have limited supplies, here is an idea that uses one color. This idea also uses embossing for a great card.
