A Christmas Color Combo

A Christmas Color Combo

Today I have a Christmas color combo with traditional colors using a stamp set you would not think could be used for Christmas.

Check out how bright and cheery this card is! I just love the colors used.

There are lots of color choices for the holidays. Get the details for for a Christmas color combo used on this card.

I was inspired by a card I saw that Jeanne Knobbe had done using the Lovely You stamp set.

I decided to use her idea and make similar version but make it a Christmas card. I pulled out all my reds and greens and chose the colors to use. Check out my video showing how to make this Christmas card idea.

The measurements are pretty easy and I have listed them below.

Measurements

Card Base:  Real Red 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
background layer:  White 4″ x 5 1/4″
background layer for center strip:  Real Red 1 3/8″ x 5 1/4″
sentiment panel:  White 1 1/4″ x 5 1/8″

I took the stamps and created a cluster of the images on the inside of the card and the envelope. Carrying the theme of your card to the inside and on your envelope gives it that professional look!

I love using other stamp sets for Christmas cards. This card uses some greenery dies to make a wreath. Here is another idea using a winter images set to create the card.

Here are the products I used to make today’s card. Click on the image to add the product to your collection.
