Across the Waves – Steampunk with watercolor pencils

Hello everyone – well I have a bright pink idea for you with the Across the Waves – Steampunk with watercolor pencils card.
Sunday’s is when Vicky and I share ideas using the same products. This month we are going to focus on colored pencils or watercolor pencils. You can use watercolor pencils as regular colored pencils if you don’t add water. You can find her project here.
Today’s Project
Yesterday I gave you a blue idea and today I have a bright pink idea for you. This color also came from the paper. When you don’t know what color to use look at your paper.
I wasn’t certain what image to put with the paper so I googled steampunk flowers and found some ideas. I then went shopping in my stash and found a stamp I could use. Not sure the coloring worked with the steampunk idea but I like how the card turned out. What do you think?

I am glad this kit has some toned down steampunk papers. I used a section of the brick wall paper to hide a lot of the gears on the the other paper. lol I also had some twine in my stash I could split apart and use for a ribbon embellishment idea.
