Anything Goes Saturday – circle aperture cutting die

Happy Saturday stampers – I recently got some new dies that I used to make this Anything Goes Saturday – circle aperture cutting die.
Have you seen all the eclipse cards that are so popular right now? I had a pay with a recent order for dies that can be used to make these fun cards.
Today’s Project
I have admired cards by Eileen Walters with the various shaped cut outs. I checked out her Etsy shop and purchased a few of her dies. I chose to use the circle one with some pattern paper. I had some issues with the thin paper strips getting stuck in the die and ripping. I was able to fix them so the pattern continues but it is something that I will need to figure out so it doesn’t continue to happen. It is a fun idea so I will play with it some more and use some of the other dies I got that are different shapes.

I chose a preprinted sentiment from my stash to add to the card. It was finished off with some gold gems.

I have created an eclipse card several years ago where I used a village die to give the eclipse idea. When you check it out is is different from today’s idea.
