Anything Goes Saturday – playing with Color Bursts

Happy Saturday stampers – I decided to use some of the products in my studio that I had not used in a while to create today’s Anything Goes Saturday – playing with Color Bursts idea.
I ran across a video that used some pigment powders and it reminded me I have some of those in my studio and had not used them in a while. That gave me the idea to do a series on long lost unused products.
Today’s Project
I found my pigment powders and decided to use them to create 2 cards for today. There are several ways to use them and I chose 2 to show you today. One of them wets the paper before you add the powders and the other adds the powder and then adds water. The purple and red card began with me spraying water on the paper. The blue and green card began with adding the green powder and spraying with water the adding the blue powder and again spraying with water. I chose some images that went with the background and stamped them.

The images chosen were based on the colors of the background. I had to stamp the image on each card several times so you could see them. The flower card uses some silver glitter mesh ribbon. The beach card uses some burlap string.

I have some other ideas using color bursts. Here is one that I created a snow background. This one is an unusual way to use the color bursts.
