Anything Goes Saturday – some more journal pages

Hello everyone – well I am slowly completing my journal and today’s Anything Goes Saturday – some more journal pages shares 4 more ideas.
This class has taught me so much. I have enjoyed expanding my skills. I will be attempting to apply the skills to my card making as I think the layouts are fun.
Today’s Project
For the first page I tried to tie it to the right hand page that we completed in class. I thought using a tall foliage would go with the fern image on the other page. I added the frame for some interest. The next page was made using copy paper. I felt it needed some support so I used a page from the paper collection for the background. The page on the right hand had a busy pattern so I kept the ephemera simple. The last page again had a busy background so I cut a panel from another page and mounted it on some coordinating cardstock.

Each page uses different pieces of the ephemera. It is so easy to create the clusters as everything coordinates beautifully.

The sentiments have been ones I could relate to in this collection.

You can make a journal very easily with some chipboard, pattern paper, and some book rings like this idea. You can also make a mini journal like this one to document your events in December leading up to Christmas.
