Happy Saturday stampers – another new idea with the Anything Goes Saturday – tab clusters for journal.
Jamie Pate is always looking for ways to use clusters and today’s video uses the idea of clusters to make tabs for the journal. I can’t wait to use this idea in my card making!
Today’s Project
I love the idea of adding tabs to the journal making it so much easier to turn the pages and not skip a page. I would never have thought of using tabs in a journal. Since my pages are laid out different from Jamie’s pages I did move my tabs around to go with my pages. I love that Jamie used the cluster idea to create the tab. Adds some extra interest to the page. The first tab used a color wheel from the laser cuts as the base. The second cluster used a vellum ephemera strip and a tag die to cut out the foundation. The third cluster used 2 pieces of scrap pattern paper as the foundation. Then other pieces from the laser cuts and pattern paper for the cluster.
The sentiments were punched out of the pattern paper pad or the laser cuts. There were a lot in there to choose from. She also pulled in some of the taller vellum ephemera and laser cuts to add interest to the pages that did not have much in the line of a pattern.

I am enjoying making this journal and can’t wait to see what we do next. I am not sure how I will use the Anything Goes Saturday – tab cluster for journal but I am sure something will come to me.
