Birthday Bonanza Thank You

Hello Everyone ~ I have a pocket card to show you with my Birthday Bonanza Thank You idea.

I was very productive yesterday.  I got my masks all folded and the ribbon attached.  Some of them have Tear & Tape attached and I only have a few left to add the tape to.  Today I am hoping to get the card bases scored and cut and some of the masks attached.  I also need to find a sentiment to stamp the inside.  With having to do 65 I don’t want to have to write the inside of all of them.  I have a couple of ones I am thinking about but just need to see if I have them.

I played with a different kind of card today.  I saw a sketch that when I saw it I thought of a pocket card.  I went looking for some designer series paper I could use.  I found a piece of the Birthday Bonanza that would be perfect.  I chose to use Bermuda Bay for my base so I cut a piece that was 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.  I then cut the designer series paper at 4″ x 5 1/4″.  I took the designer series paper and flipped it to the backside.  Using a ruler, measure from the center of the long side down 1 1/4″ and make a mark.  Use your ruler to draw a line from the corner to the mark you made in the center.  Then cut from the corner of the long side following the line to the center mark.  Repeat on the other side so you have a triangle cut from one side of the dsp.  Add Tear & Tape to the other 3 sides of the designer series paper.  Remove the backing of the Tear & Tape and add the designer series paper to the base leaving a thin border on the 3 full sides.  Cut a piece of Whisper White at 3 3/4″ x 4 1/2″.  This is the panel for the pock you will use to stamp on and write on.  Take Whisper White card stock and the Sprig punch and punch out 2 of them.  Use the flower from Bouquet Bunch to do a 4th generation stamping making 3 flowers.  Use the coordinating die to cut out the flowers.  Add the Sprig punch to the back of the flowers using glue dots.  Attach the flowers to the pocket front using glue dots and dimensionals.  Stamp your sentiment using the Bermuda Bay ink.  Punch it out using the 1 1/2″ circle punch.  Punch out a layer of Bermuda Bay using the 1 3/4″ circle punch.  Layer the 2 circles and then add the sentiment to the pocket front using dimensionals.  Here is the completed Birthday Bonanza Thank You creation.

This is an easy pocket card. It uses a quarter piece of designer series paper. Get all the ideas for the Birthday Bonanza Thank You card so you can make one of your own.

The Beautiful Bouquet stamp set has some great images.  Here is a card that uses the same flower for a great sponged background.  This great card uses another image from the stamp set for these fun circles.  This was a C.A.S.E. from the catalog using that same flower image for a great layout.
